Carrier Consulting Packages
All Carrier Consulting Packages allow for you and 3 of your staff to attend the training. All Packages have the option of extending the initial consulting period, please ask your TALTOA Consultant for details. The initial consulting period for all Consulting Packages begins on the first day you complete the training portion of your package.
An alternative for carriers wishing to begin brokering their freight that do not wish to get their own Authority at this time, is to begin by working as a freight broker agent. A freight broker agent is contracted to an existing freight brokerage performing the same duties as the freight broker, without the financial responsibility of invoicing the shipper or paying the carrier. When your agency has developed a shipper
and carrier following, you may then decide to get your own authority and be your own freight brokerage. TALTOA provides specific packages for those wishing to begin as a freight broker agent.
